EN ISO 13849-1 Seminars

Hazard analysis and implementing machine safety is becoming more complicated. We’re here to help.

The European safety standard EN ISO 13849-1 goes into full effect January 1, 2012. It represents a major change in the philosophy of hazard analysis and designing safety-related parts of machine control systems. Let Schmersal help you make the transition from EN954-1 to this new standard.

He is currently the Director of Training for the Schmersal Group, overseeing Schmersal’s tec.nicum program at the new seminar center in Wuppertal, Germany. He is also an author of several books related to machinery safety, including Schmersal’s Specific Background Information on EN ISO 13849-1 manual.
